How big should playpen mats be?

The size of the playpen mats depends on the inside measurements of the playpen you have. You can measure it with a tape measurer, but the information should also be available on the website of the manufacturer.

When you have the inside measurements, you can determine which size playpen mat you need. You can choose a mat that exactly covers the bottom or is slightly larger. If the inside measurements of your playpen are not exactly the same as the measurements of the playpen mat, always choose the larger size that does fit. It is advisable to wash the playpen mat regularly. This ensures that your baby always has clean and fresh surroundings. In case of stains from an accident, it is better to wash it out immediately to avoid permanent stains. If you wash Jollein playpen mats, wash them at a maximum of 30 degrees with similar colours. Do not iron or tumble dry the playpen mat. Let the playpen mat dry lying down.
