What is a hydrophilic cloth?

A hydrophilic cloth is a cotton cloth perfect for nursing your baby. The special weave in the fabric makes the cloth very thin, light, and soft. A hydrophilic cloth absorbs more water and moisture and is kind to your baby's delicate skin and can be used in many situations. Before modern disposable nappies, hydrophilic cloths were used as reusable nappies.

When should hydrophilic towels be used?

Hydrophilic towels, or hydrophilic nappies as they are also called, can be used for many different purposes. The most well-known use is of course as an alternative to disposable nappies. Because you can wash the cloths out, you don't need to keep buying new nappies.

What towel size is best?

Jollein has two sizes in its range, 70 x 70 cm and 115 x 115 cm. The cloths of 70 x 70 (small) are the 'normal' size. The normal-size towels are ideal for use as bibs or spit towels and as protection for your feeding pillow. The large version can be used as a swaddle cloth, towel or blanket.
