What is a baby nest?

A baby nest is a low-rimmed "basket" for your baby. The popularity of baby nests has grown considerably in recent years since the phenomenon blew over from the Scandinavian countries. The usually oval or rectangular shape, soft bottom and soft upright edge make it very reminiscent of a bird's nest. This gives the baby a safe feeling.

You can put the nest on the couch with you, in the playpen, or use it in the transition from cradle or bassinet to the cot. It gives your little one a secure feeling and the raised edge prevents them from rolling out. The baby nest is easy to wash, as there is a zip at the bottom of the mattress allowing you to remove it.

What do you use a baby nest for?

A baby nest is a multifunctional item which can be used for countless things. The raised edge prevents the baby from rolling away or turning over. You can therefore put it on your bed or on the rug as well.

Because the baby's nest is like a little hideaway, it can also be pleasant for your baby to lie in comfortably when you have visitors. Because a baby nest is made of soft materials, it is also handy to take along with you on the go. Make it even cosier for your little one with a hooded blanket! Then your baby can always rest safely and securely, even when visiting! A baby nest can also be used for small naps, but do not use it as a substitute for a cradle or bed. Never leave your baby unattended in the baby nest.
